The ADP-CT3 adapter allow backwards compatibility of front panel or external devices using a USB 3.1 Gen2 20-PIN Key-A connector to be connected to mainstream motherboards without said internal connector. It transfers the connection onto a standard 19-PIN USB 3.1 Gen1 male header that can be connected to any of the standard USB 3.1 Gen1 interfaces on the motherboard.
